    Other Airgun for Squirrel?

I will second the Daisy 880. Easy to pump, accurate, and powerful to kill at 20 yards with head shots. Put a good scope on it. For a pistol, the Hatsan 25 is a good hunting pistol. My pistol is a .22 cal and shoots 14.3-grain pellets at 550 fps. It is surprisingly accurate and close to my HW...

    Happy Easter Airgun Nation!

It's too late. I'm interested in your favorite Easter candy when you were a kid. Mine was the Whoppers robin eggs and the Brach candy coconut creme eggs. Did not like those marshmallow peeps. Good memories running downstairs to dig through our Easter baskets and having a belly ache sitting in...

    How quickly we forget...

I enjoy responding to posts and following other responses to the posts. So post away. I don't care if you do not do research. The more basic the question, the easier it is for me to respond, given my limited knowledge.

I superglued in black bbs in my HW 30.

    N/A Speak up Springer Shooters

I signed up for the Gunslyger Springer division. I think you shoot from a bench in that competition. I will watch HFT and see if I want to compete the following year. One thing is that the fees for each of the events are steep, especially for me, as I am assuming I will be one and done.

    FWB FWB velocity troubles.

It may be a broken spring. I just shot it, and first shot jumped to 324 fps, and then the second shot was 274 fps. Looks like a job for David Slade.

    FWB FWB velocity troubles.

I just got an FWB 65. The first shot with an 8-grain pellet was 394 fps. That sounded Ok for a used air pistol. I was expecting something like 410 fps. Then, velocities went from 250 fps to 300 fps over a 12-shot string, even with a 7 grain Hobby pellets. The velocities did settle to about 290...

    Need a lightweight target rifle

Maybe not in the same league as a Crossman Challenger, but the Beeman R7 (HW 30) with a Williams Peep Sight has been a fun target rifle for me.

Other Some dandy’s on Airguns of AZ pre owned

Got that used Aeon Scope 6x24x50 for $140. Hope it is a good scope. Going to use it on my FWB 124D for the Pyramid Cup.

    Trading airguns to a shop

Selling firearms on consignment has worked for me. The gun shop charges a 15% fee on guns that sell. I think the gun shop my brother deals with only charges 10%. I'm not sure of the traffic in my gun shop for airguns, I might try an airgun there later. However, there may be some shops that sell...

FWB Fwb 124, which kit ,maccari or vortek? Want it smooth action and accurate power.

I had David Slade install a Maccari kit in my FWB 124D. I understand it is a shorter spring than the original factory spring, so it has a faster shot cycle. Smooth cocking and solid thunk on shooting. Think the velocity is the same or a little more. Not seeing any change in accuracy. I do have...

    FWB Fair price for FWB

I am saving up money for an FWB 65 and wondering what a good price would be for one in excellent, good, and fair condition.

    Rookie Mistakes?

My rookie mistake 40 years ago, when I got my first springer airgun, was not knowing the artillery hold. Now internet has videos on it.

Benjamin Williams Peep Sight on a Benjamin 342

Mike Baker has one for $40 shipped. Reasonable price close to eBay's price. Dennis Baker had only one left for $35.

    Daisy BB gun fun

I had one of those 111s. I just bought another one. It's super accurate, outshoots my Red Ryder or Model 25, and is close to the Daisy 499. I have great memories of begging for a BB gun and the Christmas surprise.
