N/A Is air pistol cheaper in the long run [edit:] than competitive firearms shooting?

Most 10m PCP air pistols come with two easily swappable air cylinders. It usually takes around 50-60 pumps to fill one cylinder from 80 to 200 bars, and that will give you in the ball park of 140 shots pr. cylinder. (y)

    N/A Webley Hurricane

I don't really know what it is about the Hurricane and the Tempest, but I like them. I have five of them in total. They are heavy to cock, they recoil violently (for an air pistol) and are difficult to shoot accurately, and they are not very pretty, although not exactly ugly either. But they...

I let these three shine along with the sun today. ☀️

A pre-applied threadlocker that makes adjustments possible?

I guess this is empirical knowledge, you don't get there without having lived for a while and had a pragmatic approach to life. (y)

A pre-applied threadlocker that makes adjustments possible?

That is a good solution, but as you say, from M6 and up. (y) Unfortunately, the screws I'd like to secure is M3 and M4.

A pre-applied threadlocker that makes adjustments possible?

I have tried Vibra-Tite, but it didn't perform very well. I possibly got hold of an old expired tube.

A pre-applied threadlocker that makes adjustments possible?

Hi. Can anyone tell me what kind of pre-applied threadlocker e.g. Traxxas uses on their screws? That holds tight but doesn't lock up completely, and stays flexible and makes adjustments possible over time? It doesn't look like LocTite supplies any of this type of threadlocker, but clearly...

What pistol did you shoot today

Moved the 2x20 scope over from the HW44 to the P85 today. Shooting rested at 15 meters, that's about the longest I can get within the fences on the cabin property. I'm a newbie when it comes to optics on handguns, and so far I prefer scopes over red dots by a good margin. Probably because so far...

    FWB FWB P85 Multi Shot

You have a good eye for details. (y) I was in a little hurry when I made this so there was no testing and trying during the making. It is possible I go for just one fastening screw on the next version, it nevertheless pinches very well to the dove tail rail. The screws I have used are a kind of...

    FWB FWB P85 Multi Shot

Thanks. I'm not 100% satisfied with the result. I was a bit hasty when I fitted the rail, and cut it a bit short. In retrospect, I see that the rail could have protruded around 40 millimeters to the rear, above the grip. But that will be a project for the fall/winter. :) 👍

Guess what! :D I finally found time to finnish the scope mount for my P85. 🥳

I think the wood cover gives the Tau-7 a distinctive character. Personally I like it. (y)

FWB A FWB 55P in parts.

Actually, it works now. I couldn't leave it in limbo until next weekend, so I had to try to see if there was hope. After some adjustment of the firing spring screw and the choke screw, it started to cycle fairly steadily. I suspect the muzzle velocity is a bit low, it sounds a bit limp, but the...
