Thanks for the reply. Mine actually cracked into two pieces, and the trigger still functions, so I always wondered what it did.

Try inserting a layer/s of paper to take up the clearance and add friction, enough to a point where it's takes a bit of force to slide it on. It's reversible and doesn't harm anything.

Mine works well with Finale Match Lights.

I used an old 70's/80's Samsonite briefcase that I just happened to have saved. I gutted it, lined with felt material and used 1" thick foam (the harder white stuff) with the profile cut out. It fits diagonally. Every time I shoot it, I get to tell my wife "I'll be in my office".

@ Crowski- That is how mine (factory seal) looked as well. Replaced with the Vortek PG 4 kit and am very happy with it so far. My spring was also in pieces.
