Put in an order for some of the .217" 20.2 grain NSA slugs to try in my Weihrauch HW100S. I might try the H&N .217 21 grain too. I'm curious to see how they will shoot. Some people have had good results and the ballistics are great so we'll see.

If you hunt long enough you'll have shots like that happen regardless of what you're shooting. Even with .22 LR hollowpoints at over a hundred foot pounds of energy. Chalk it up to bad luck.
