I have a Hawke Vantage Side Focus 4-16x44mm on my HW100S. I have thought about getting an Athlon Argos HMR 2-12x 42mm; sometimes when squirrel hunting the shots are up close or on moving targets and wider field of view would be welcome. Magnification over 12 is only rarely used.

My HW100S is about 30 fps less than that with those pellets; it does average of 925 with the H&N Barracuda Match so I would assume around the same with the similar weight JSBs. If the BC is better they would be worth a try. The rifle's best accuracy so far has been with those two JSBs with 18.13...
