Even when you get your replacement I’d polish it. It will not hurt it and regardless of how good it looks will perform better with a polish. Since I got it shooting good I haven’t cleaned or polished the liner. And I’ve put thousands of slugs through it.

Came here to say the same. I use JB bore paste. iosso also works great, it’s a bit more gritty than JB. Give it 25 passes with a .30 bore mop, clean with a CLP or similar and I’d even run a patch of alcohol down it at the end to make sure you got everything clean and out. Heck I’ve put over 100...

Oh man! I’d love to see some groups. Is that a K1 you are shooting it out of? I was just shooting some heavy MKII’s around 940 out of a superior heavy liner and they did better than I thought they would, less than an inch at 65 yards.

They fit and seat just fine. The largest slugs I’ve used in the standard FX magazine are the Altaros 49.5’s. Those barely fit, but you’ll have plenty of room with ZAN 41’s. I can post pictures if you want still have some of both
