    N/A Weihrauch hw97 or Air Arms TX200

I owned both guns in .22 cal, got rid of them long ago, didn't like the slower velocities of .22 cal in a springer, however I recently came across an awesome deal on a new HW97K in .177 and this gun is a different story. Once broken in and the correct pellet was used this gun is a keeper for...

N/A .177 8-9 grain lead pellet of choice

No I haven't, I did find a brand new unopened tin, so I'll have to give them a try next, I like the velocity the 8.44 gives me in the 124's but the HW97 would be a good candidate for the 9.57.

N/A .177 8-9 grain lead pellet of choice

I've tried all of the above pellets, all JSB Exacts, the QYS, the H&N FTT and wadcurtters and Baracudas, Crosman Premiers, both my FWB 124's and my HW97K all love one pellet the best, this pellet is the H&N Baracuda 8 in 4.51 with a weight of 8.44 gr. Outstanding accuracy at all ranges, 50 yards...

    HW/Weihrauch Breaking in a new HW97K

I have a R9 .20 that I purchased from Steve at Pomona Airguns 20 years ago, it's a Goldfinger that steve installed a Macarri spring and tuned on day one. This is the only reason I didn't buy the 97 in .20 cal. The R9 shoots H&N FTT just over 800 fps and accurately

    HW/Weihrauch Breaking in a new HW97K

After mounting the Hawke 3-9 scope with two piece Sportmatch rings I was within 3/4" of the bullseye elevation and the windage was within 1" so not much adjustment was needed, got lucky with this setup.

    HW/Weihrauch Breaking in a new HW97K

Picked up a blemished HW97K from Pyramid Air just over a month ago, stock had one small mark underneath and that was it, it looked brand new. I mounted a Hawke scope with 2pc Sportmatch mounts and sighted in at 35 yards. Tried several different pellets, one day gun would like JSB's and then the...

Beautiful gun in Walnut and the .20 makes it even better.

    HW/Weihrauch New HW97K .177 Accuracy

Gun had some dieseling the first 100 shots but has completely cleared up and my chronograph shows tight consistant velocities now.

    HW/Weihrauch New HW97K .177 Accuracy

My HW97 has been pounding the strike zone with every shot, I love this gun, yea it's heavy but I'm 6'1" and 200 lbs and can handle the 97 just fine.

    FWB FWB 124 Sport

I have two of these guns, both had pellets stuck in barrel and disintegrated piston seals, I installed a ARH full power kit in the one and a slightly softer kit in the other. I find myself shooting she softer kitted gun more because it's so easy to cock and so smooth and accurate. Both guns are...

    HW/Weihrauch New HW97K .177 Accuracy

It is indeed fun, a tin of pellets and the gun is all that's needed, no hoses, tanks, compressors. I'm guessing gun will get even better and smooth out even more as I shoot. As the late Robert Beeman once said, these guns doen't wear out the more you shoot them they wear in. No, I'm not going to...

    HW/Weihrauch New HW97K .177 Accuracy

Ok, I found some 8.64g FTT ammo @ 885 FPS and didn't need to go past those, the 7.87 JSB also accurate at a blistering 925 FPS The FTT have PCP accuracy though. Dam ! This is a 15 foot pound gun in .177, I'm impressed

    HW/Weihrauch New HW97K .177 Accuracy

I always wanted to try a HW97 in .177, after owning a TX200 in .22 the larger caliber springer isn't fast enough for my taste, I leave .22 and above for PCP's, that's just my personal experience. If you do buy a larger power springer with any kind of decent velocity it's too harsh to shoot and...

    HW/Weihrauch Decision Time - .20 HW77K vs .22 HW77

I am a PCP guy but cut my teeth on springers long ago and still enjoy shooting them, I go through cycles, right now I am on a springer high, just picked up a new HW97K in .177, shoots 7.9 g CP's just over 900 fps and also likes RWS Superdomes just under 900 FPS, this gun is spectacular ! I had a...
