A touch of help needed on Kratos

Calipers and micrometers are not a problem as they are always on hand. Just seems the squishy oring would be difficult to get a correct measurement as I can't measure the groove in the barrel

A touch of help needed on Kratos

Any tips on how to measure these for replacements?

A touch of help needed on Kratos

Got it. Super easy now that I done it. I'm glad this happened as I have a greater understanding of the rifle. Pulled the tank and valve assembly out by removing 2 set screws and the offending pellets came right out. I had blown out the breech oring too so I replaced it. There was one in the kit...

A touch of help needed on Kratos

So while shooting cicadas this morning (since they are in full swing here) I had some pellets fall backwards into the action. At first I thought that they were falling into the grass but when the cocking lever jammed I realized they were going backwards down into the hammer (I guess that's the...

Benjamin Benjamin Kratos single load trays?

Yeah I seen those. The ramp style works it's just aggravating to check each pellet to see if it's forward or not.

    I think I can't hunt anymore

I only sport hunt bugs. It has to be a pest or I'm going to eat it now, so I fully get it. There is a bluejay that keeps stealing my cats food so it's on the pest list now.

Benjamin Benjamin Kratos single load trays?

As an update, I got the trays that just slide in and are just ramped to the pellet holding area. Not a fan as 50% of the time the pellet turns backwards. Maybe I need to adjust my pellet placement procedure but so far not a fan. I'm probably going to order the swing out. Other than that it works...

    Centerfire v. Air…

I still have several and use them occasionally. I had a odd desire to collect them for a while.

Dealing with stuck pellet tin lids

I'm glad it's not just me. That's a relief. I all but had to rip open an old tin the other day.

    Buy once, cry once.

As a noob I wanted something from a reputable company that would have support for years to come with a decent history of the fun itself. I bought a kratos at about $700 + scope. Well so much for that since they got discontinued. There is something to be said about cheap stuff that works ie notos...

Do you ever get fed up with Airguns?

Ummm......both. Casual plinking especially on a Sunday I love my PCP and springer. PBs and air both have their place in my home.

    Hickory NC airgun show update

I'm in Yancey county in NC and it was incredible unfathomable destruction. Almost every where is accessable now. Mountain folks got out and got it done. I was hoping to get to go to the hickory show but I've been at the fire department everyday helping the community.
