Calipers and micrometers are not a problem as they are always on hand. Just seems the squishy oring would be difficult to get a correct measurement as I can't measure the groove in the barrel
Got it. Super easy now that I done it. I'm glad this happened as I have a greater understanding of the rifle. Pulled the tank and valve assembly out by removing 2 set screws and the offending pellets came right out. I had blown out the breech oring too so I replaced it. There was one in the kit...
So while shooting cicadas this morning (since they are in full swing here) I had some pellets fall backwards into the action. At first I thought that they were falling into the grass but when the cocking lever jammed I realized they were going backwards down into the hammer (I guess that's the...
I only sport hunt bugs. It has to be a pest or I'm going to eat it now, so I fully get it. There is a bluejay that keeps stealing my cats food so it's on the pest list now.

One shot one kill on a yeller jacket this morning that landed on milk soaked paper towel. Bonus. (Yes I said yeller). Low right of cross hairs at about 28yds.
I moved my cardboard box from full sun at the creek to over next to my garage about 8ft away. When I moved it right next to the building I got more on paper. I agree I think the paper dries too fast and they like moist stuff instead of dry. When all was said and done I had 4 down out of about 10...
