Hatsan Opinions on buying a cheap Hatsan springer and modifying it vs buying higher end Hatsan.

You get what you pay for. Get a R1 /HW 80 in .22 and you never will regret it. Money spent once is savings twice. Hatsans are POORLY MADE AND WEAR VERY FAST. I JUST CUT UP A CARNIVORE .30. Scrap

    Webley tomahawk breach

Slather it on good , the whole barrel that goes into the breech. Green everywhere , twist it in slowly to get complete saturation use the breech screw to align it up and push it through. If it’s a half moon like factory barrels it will only go in one way, and only so far for breech seal...

    HW/Weihrauch HW97K disassembly preload?

Oh yeah ,it was through all layers of skin and the last silver skin. I could see the terminator tendons when moving fingers That pic was the next day after I taped it shut to see if it was gonna get infected. 10 min after that pic I glued with strips and kept it dry and clean.. I dodged a...

    HW/Weihrauch HW97K disassembly preload?

Well let’s say if it’s a new gun factory you may want to use the rail press. This was the result of taking a 77 apart being lazy My spring compressor was 2 feet away .. THE FACTORY GUIDE WAS THE METAL FORK TYPE THAT BIT ME GOOD. The spring was 40 coils of thin wire but a lot of preload yet...

    Tomahawk breech jaws

run a 6x1 tap through it and you will be fine. The bolt is the tad oversized. If starting threads are crushed a tad use a needle file to re shape. test fit it with no breech in between. That gun looks like it’s been soaked in acid. 😳

    Tomahawk breech jaws

It’s a custon cut tad oversized 6x1 With a fitted .250 center stem bolt I’ve taken hundreds apart. never striped one unless you used a different screw than the actual unit. Gonna be a potential issue if not done correctly as the forks will not squeeze equally then you get breech sway 1...

    Webley tomahawk breach

Lined up is one thing. it’s loose and needs to be locked in with a retaining compound as it will oscillate and loose accuracy. The better question is WHY WAS IT LOOSE WEBLEY used a damn good compound to hold them in. Someone has heated it and released it and did not re doe it properly...

    Webley tomahawk breach

The barrel looks like it rotated and is loose there should be nothing but a smooth half moon from the initial ream might have been rebarreled. Is it stamped on the top of the barrel the caliber ne’er the breech ? either way something has rotated and IS LOOSE , AND NEEDS ATTENTION IN SLEEVE...

Air Arms Where to source a pro elite piston seal

Pro Elite seal design was the janitors job at the engineers lunch. it’s HORID. WORSE IVE SEEN , it needs to be converted. It’s not if. It’s when it will come off and burn up as they are softer material and poorly made . There is no glue that will hold urethane to metal under pounding heat...
