    HW/Weihrauch HW50 , the challenge continues

That’s breech hang up. The bottom area under the block need to be filed to let it drop to level it as well as may have to relieve the face a tad. Depends. It’s all by experiance And feel . Seals will need to be fitted to. It happens mostly with barrel swaps as tolerances can carry and .05/+- mm...

    Beeman Beeman r7 in uk

Goo Nice mod, you always impress … The 20 cal R7 , (Königen) you have seen it that’s a tad snappy with the Vortek kit in it. It’s at 8 ft lbs , Vortek likes to use short stout springs with less pre load. It is deadly but there is instant load on the barrel at break to load it as well as wants...

    Squirrel union meeting

They are having a meeting here on why this ”SHAT” is happening 😳 Or who’s responsible .

Any pics of the arm / pin set up with the set screw … it’s a hurdle with that platform and the 99/50 articulating arms.

    Beeman R7(HW30) Vortek Tune

Does it imediately load at breaking the barrel to put a pellet in. Mine wants to close as there is so much pre load. Albeit a decent kit I think it’s a tad , to short in coils. I may call Tom and get the same spring in a 3 more coil version. Un popular as it is to believe shortening springs...

    Beeman R7(HW30) Vortek Tune

I’ve got one in .20 cal with the steel version and it’s hot. “Snappy “ shot cycle for R7. Lots of immediate pre load on the barrel at break to load. wondering if the spring was changed in the delrin version It’s doing around 8 ft lbs. with 11.5 Ftt. acurate as all hell ..

Traditional Rifle Webley Tomahawk Turkish made .177 Quatro trigger.

This is a project gun for those who love the HATSAN 95 platform. ( it’s basicly the same gun with rounded breech block and diferent rear block, and barrel brake). It has The factory spring, and seal… The guide was replaced to stop spring bending. The stock was re shaped with a rollover design...

those wanting darker and thicker reticle might look at the Sightron SI 4-12x40

I like it , not a fan of side mount AO. 4x12x40 is perfect for most springers. R7 excluded as it’s so small.

    HW/Weihrauch David and Goliath (HW25L .177 and HW80 .25)

To get the most out of a .25 with a 80 mm stroke you will need to check the port and take it to at least 3.5 mm and don’t go with a loose seal. They like some back psi. Tuning for power and smoothness for the power is a ballance as you can’t beat Newtons laws. That is the older kit and is...

.25 caliber at 32 FPE not enough?

Tough to kill they are. If they were 100 lbs ,I’d never go into the woods because you couldn’t kill them.

    HW/Weihrauch Skirtless piston

I hunt. I rarely paper punch. Getting around a long port is tough. I’ve tapered reamed before but you need more piston weight and pre load to off set the volume gain. Especially in .177. l

    HW/Weihrauch Skirtless piston

Try a.177 Longbow if you like snappy fast. 🤮. Same gun in .22 might be one of the best built 12 ft lb guns. Of course tuned well

    HW/Weihrauch Skirtless piston

you are in the sweet spot. 15 ft lbs in a .22 nets you sighted in top of dot at 30 yards good to 50 with 1/4 inch drop

    HW/Weihrauch Skirtless piston

If your looking for smooth target power , lightening the piston is a way , but there are many ways to skin a cat. caliber dependent. .22 being easiest. Then .20 . .177 always is hardest to get smoothest for many reasons. It’s counter intuitive to what most think In spring gun tuning.
