Correct. They replied to me in an email when we found out about the shorter shroud that: "It's hard to find a case for the boss" ... They don't want to make a seperate case fot the fx boss anymore so they just cut a piece of the fx boss so it would fit in one of their standard cases.

Just a quick question? Is the FX boss so much more expensive in the USA than over here in Europe? 2000 dollars seems like a lot

It's louder. But I'm not sure if it shoots groups worse than the old version. I just don't know :(

Did you furiously try to lower the regulator with pressure in the bottle or something? Like, very often?

Mine creeps about 5 bars but only if the outside pressure is more than 50 bars higher. The higher the pressure in the bottle the more creep i have.

Does that sit on the white piece of plastic? Looks really really damaged but i'm not sure how that could have happened?

Well at the latest from the moment they got those QR scan codes on the side. And the Boss never had/has a power wheel. The Royale did not have a regulator. (never had i think but not sure on that) The Boss always had a regulator. @Airgun Al After someone in my shooting group tried my FX boss...

The newer bosses are shorter. FX cut a piece of the shroud (about 5cm/2 inches) so the air rifle can fit in their standard case and they have 1 less case type to manufacture. (costs) So the new bosses sound like crap (shrilly or what's the word for it...) and i think they're less accurate too...

60 bars seems incredibly low. No matter how soft the hammer hits that the valve will open wide and long and that might explain your lack of fps change. I'd start with 110 bars , hammer at 1 and just up the hammer untill desired speed is reached. Results will be a lot more logical i bet with a...


I saw a youtube where this mexican guy "alvarez" was shooting it. It was terrible, and he isn't a bad shot . Too bad kalibrgun didn't go for a .30 instead i guess :( 

What should i expect @ 100 yards ? (accuracy) I can only find ONE accuracy test, and it's not good :(
