Traded Made! Both sides superpleased. My first Sumatra 2500 500cc in .25!

So I had two AAS410s'. One is a long rifle with bolt action. The other is a carbine with lever action. Turns out I shoot the carbine the most.
So wanting to try a Sumatra 2500 in .25 I posted a want to trade ad a few weeks back.

Here is the AAS410 (fresh reseal and trigger tune done):

And the extras I sent along included two magazines, fill adaptor and a muzzle brake adapter from Poland!

All boxed up and a quick trip to the local small post office....

Then just two days later look what showed up at my house!

Unboxed an placed on my bench

I found this beauty for sale right after I made the trade. It showed up the same day the rifle arrived!

Mounted a 1 pc mount with a ZOS 10-40X06 scope I had lyng around.....

At this point I only have about 200 rounds through it. I think I have found its sweet spot. Fill to 185-190 BAR and then shoot 5 mags at one click down from full power.

Any thoughts, comments ar opinions are appreciated!

Thanks for reading my story.

As long as your happy ( thats is the best model AA they made , superior trigger & 16mm shroud ...) . Havent seen a Sumatra since they only came in .20 cal. and would think they have improved slightly while remaining the same? Your looking at some advanced " clicking" on that power wheel - has many step's now not just 3 correct?- . I figured it out on a Career 707 II withOUT a chrony , you'll have a better time. Fairly easy to de-tine for a normal weight pellet and get a decent shot string out of instead of straight down.

Keep us posted.

Thank you all for the kind words. I am SUPER EXCITED!!!!

Cannot wait to get home from the road (where I am now) and get in some more trigger and range time.

I will most likely switch out the scope when I can get ahold of another one. Same with the mounts. I have tried fixed power scopes in the past and tend to gravitate towards the variable power ones.

I really enjoyed the AAS410. When I bought the S410 carbine it just became the one I shot the most. Here are a few pics of the carbine AAS4L410:

Saving up for the Sumatra and realizing that it was going to take a while I decided to post that want to trade ad on a whim. Go figure that in a few days it was a done deal. Super pleased with the condition of the Sumatra.

As for the adjustment wheel it is a later model unit that has the foster fill and according to their website it has about “30” adjustments! Personally I might find the preferred high adjustment, one for middle of the range and that will be it. I do not see adjusting it all the time etc.

I am new to this forum and look forward to getting to know everyone. I do appreciate any advice, suggestions and help always!

~GOD BLESS~
