I only have agama as a pest in my area a little north of you. If I was going to start with what I know know, I'd probably get a Zelos 22 cal. Big mag capacity for plinking, plenty of rifle for iguana. Notos if I didn't need as much power. No reason to break the bank for pesting and plinking. And it allows for future mods like a bottle and adapter. Just my 2c

Thank you, I appreciate the input. I’ve been eying a .22 Benjamin Marauder Woods walker for sale in the classifieds. Any thoughts on this as an iguana gun? I can’t reach out to the seller yet until I get PM abilities so it gives me some time to research.

Yesterday, shot a bunch of iguanas with the m4 .22 and the U2 177.

Finely tuned the U2 177 600mm, it is now MOA accurate out to 191yds with 20gr Take Aim slugs at 40fpe

Today I shot my FX Crown .30 cal for the first time. I took it to my airgun range just to shoot it before I cut the grass. It puts pellet on pellet at 50 yards. And tore through my saw blade.

Tomorrow I’ll chronograph it and shoot it out to 100 yards.

I started seeing what my Bullshark has at 30YC. I got some erratic POI. I plan on doing a full shot string later to see if that tells me anything. I did clean the barrel and it was still acting up after that.
Edit:
This rifle arrived to me in pieces. It had a Huma reg installed with a big gouge in the metal. The stock reg was included. The previous owner went into the deep end without knowing what he was doing. I have the original reg back in, but I’m wondering if he messed with that also. I have a P35 25 cal I can look to for reference.

It’s an ATI cheek piece that I installed a while ago.

Gave the hardware a brush-polished (the flat one that looks like a washer) and replaced the original screw with a polished button one; the tip refinished and reduced so it wouldn’t protrude.

I’ve somehow perfected the BP finish
