No, big bore pcp's typically aren't regulated. So the power level decreases some with each shot. The 1st shot being the most powerful.I’ve never used such large-caliber PCPs before. Do they really have such big variations in muzzle velocity with each shot? Can’t they be controlled within a 3 FPS range like the .25 or .30 calibers?
100 yards 3 shot group is one big dollar coin hole... have not tried 200 yards have to find a range that has 200 yardDoes it shoot well?? Many of the AEA big bore barrels are pretty rough...
Impressive for sure...My barrel on my .510 Texan was horrible...I had to hand lead lap and know its okay...The .58 zeus is powerful.....100 yards 3 shot group is one big dollar coin hole... have not tried 200 yards have to find a range that has 200 yard
I know the AEA Zeus is capable of this kind of accuracy, but it takes time and experience to get the ammo/barrel/pressure all perfect. My Texan .510 shoots 3/4 MOA at 100 all day long, but the carbon fiber barrel shroud is the key to its barrel stabilization... The Zeus has no barrel shroud to reinforce and stabilize it, so it is alot more finicky to tune with that long noodle of a barrel hanging way out in the wild.... but it is doable.@pcponly Let’s see a photo of that target.
@The Archer I didn't say or imply that it is not doable. However, it's a phenomenal claim.
