Having problems with this TUXING FILL ADAPTER (CGA347)?

If you've purchased one of these fill adapters (See link)& having problems you're not alone! There IS an easy fix however. Seems Tuxing made the probe that goes inside SCBA tank valve 347 threads a mm or 2 too long to get a good seal & will leak. If you remove the hex screw & o-ring (rubber or white nylon) from end of probe you'll see the recessed o-ring seat at end of probe. CUT A ROUND PIECE OF PLASTIC MILK CARTON (or other material) TO FIT  INSIDE that o-ring seat & punch a hole in CENTER of plastic to allow probe hex screw to go through, you'll find that when you remount hex screw & o-ring back on end of probe that your leak is fixed!!
NOTE: thickness of piece you cut (whatever material used) HAS TO be THINNER than depth of recessed o-ring seat! There needs to be a "lip" to hold o-ring in place!
PM me if this is hard to understand. Takes 2 minutes to explain. Check link below.

Good on you for coming up with a solution. Sure you could have just returned it and got your $47 back. Then you would have to go find an adapter from a different vendor.

I've spent the past 8 years figuring out safe, economical solutions & fixes for the peripherals that our airguns require. Fixed income has forced me to use ingenuity & acquired skills to "have toys like the rich(er) boys". :p I must be doing something right because my fixes have all worked to my liking & needs for a LONG time.
