Crosman Prelude to Crosman 101 rebuild

My Father in Law passed away 6 years ago, and while cleaning out the house, found this in the rafters in the basement. Near as I can tell, it is a post WW2 model. It's complete except for the rear peep sight. Barrel is steel. Got 3 .22 cal. pellets from my son, and ran it over the chrony this morning. 8 pumps, first shot 271 fps. 2nd shot 285 fps, and the 3rd shot I waited 1 minute after pumping to fire, netting 206 fps. Any advise before tearing into it would be greatly appreciated. I own a machine shop, and have access to 2 plating companies, so I can go all out, or just hang it on the wall without touching it. Thanks.

They're not hard to reseal. Rick at Precision Pellet (717) 382-1481 or Mike Baker will have the parts needed to reseal and may have spare sights. Parts also pop up on Ebay with the bridge and peep. Fun guns to shoot. You'll need a tool to remove the valve, not hard to make if you have a machine shop.

If search for Crosman 101 reseal there are some good guides with photos.
