What springer did you shoot today?

Sticking with the 77’s. First up a .177. Superb accuracy, cutting cans in half at 30 yds.

And my newest 77 a .20 cal. Had on order for almost a year, and worth the wait.

This is the .20 at 45 yds. A dozen shots while talking to a member on the horn.

Broke out my long barrel HW97 and Diana 56 T/H yesterday. Kimmy 2 Guns shot her .22 HW50. Had some nice 15-20 mph winds so we just sat out at 25 yards shooting spinners and chalk. My two shoot like the pellets have guidance systems, made it easy on me. Kim shot really well, coming back to her after our layoff. Big smiles all around after, ain’t that what it’s all about?

No springers today, trying to beat the heat by wrapping up early.

Crosman Model 107 Town&Country.
Not a powerhouse, but with .177 Hobbys it has given many chipmunks the good news.
It is plain fun to shoot, and it stood fence duty today.

A pair of Challenger Plainsman .22 pneumatic rifles that I recently rebuilt.
Both were in need of sight regulation, and both rifles are bang on with Crosman Premiers!!

Power levels are in line with other pneumatics of that era, approx. 590 fps with 14 gr. Crosmans at 8 pumps.
Bottom rifle is an early rifle, while the top one is from later manufacture.

I have been going down the line of rifles this week figuring out what stays and what go's to Hickory NC . so far it looks like I'm not going to have much on my table , two or three rifles and 3 or 4 pistols ?

I too looked it up…if I hadn’t just driven to Mebane NC last weekend for the Carolina Classic Grand Prix Match I would consider it. 12-13 hr drives for this old man only happen a few times a year. Have a blast! John

Shooting FWB 600 and a squirrel was on the feeder , 8.2 gr. wadcutter Tenex , into the brain , short dance later it became Fox food . not a pass through so cut off the head .
I was shooting on the range Sunday and a black squirrel came out of nowhere. He was checking out the targets. Couldn’t resist. Played catch with a HW77 .22 cal. He’s taking nap. Crow

Piddled around with a Beeman R8/SS2 scope combo, checking for bugs and sighting in. Nice shooter with low mileage and appears to be up to spec., not even going to tear into it.
AA Diabolo Express 7.87gr. - 699fps - 8.54fpe
Should've picked one up years ago.

We have a few squirrels that frequent our feeder. My wife enjoys their antics so I leave them alone. Really like seeing them around,as long as they do no damage I like seeing them, same with raccoons and possums.

Their cute. Be careful, squirrels and coons did over $10,000 damage. My house and store were next door. They got both places. Just had roof shingled few years ago and they used plastic vents. Squirrels chewed through 3, almost burned down house by chewing wires. Crow
