U3 compact .22. JSB 18g, Hades 15g and Crosman 14g used for this. Orion's magazines operate perfectly. AGT and Eagle Vision jam when the muzzle is tilted up at all. Cudos to Orion for the value provided with his iteration!
The Mag on the right will allow you to keep firing after you are out of pellets. I thought the newer ones would have been the one on the left that prevents this?I just purchased a Vixen 2 and had some loading issues that lead to a jam that required a rod to tap out. Today I noticed I have different versions of a .22 Magazine. Is there anyone that can educate me on the different versions? Thanks!View attachment 594296
I have a mix of both varations and I would like all of them to be the same, kinda screws me up having both. It looks like if AGT wanted to, they could make the center part of the mag available and guys could choose which one they wanted by changing out the center part. It would be awesome if Orion would be interested in producing the center pieces, as I doubt AGT would want to deal with it.The newer agt magazines hold an extra round. The bad side of that for me is you won't know your last shot because the new magazine does not have the stop for the probe.
Im going with possible operator error for now, but thanks appreciate it.I would guess it’s a spring tension problem . I have 5 22 mags with no problems in 2 different Uragan 2
Here's what my U3 came with. They jam while cocking every single time the barrel was inclined even slightly upward. My fix was Orion's magazines. Easier to load and no jam with any pellet I've used so far.I just purchased a Vixen 2 and had some loading issues that lead to a jam that required a rod to tap out. Don't give up on the Orion mag!!! I had the same experience. It's designed to be quite snug initially. The 3d material will "form fit" and be perfect after a few insertions and removals of the magazines.Unfortunately the Orion Mag that I have, fits extremely tight in my Vixen 2? The tolerances in the breech seem to be tighter in the Vix2 than my U1/2 . It also does not fit properly in the AGT Vixen MAG Holder. I did force the Mag into the breech and it worked great, but it required too much force and I am not doing that again, and will be returning it.
Disapointing, as I really like the Rifle, I don't know what AGT was thinking? or maybe it's just me, but I am not interested in having 2 different Mags that appear simialar but function differently. If AGT is going to do this, IMO they should be labeled or a different color. I want my Mags to all function in the same manor. No mag issues with my U1 and U2, but I have not been shooting inclined either.

If you want, send me a picture of the bottom of the magazine, I might be able to tell where the tolerances are different based on the marks left behind after inserting it.Unfortunately the Orion Mag that I have, fits extremely tight in my Vixen 2? Just to be clear, I only have one of your mags that I received the other day for my .22 Vix2 . What I was trying to say, was as of now I do not remember having agt brand mag issues with my U1 and u2.But I think he is saying on the Uragan works better and tighter on the vixen.

It's true that most my design are tight but two guns might have different tolerances too.

vector-air.co.uk was info those Gen 3
Key Features✔ Gen 3 Design – Enhanced snowflake-style friction system for reliable feeding
✔ Rounded Grip Strips – Allows for smoother and more accurate pellet loading
✔ Last-Shot Lock Open – Reintroduced by AGT due to popular demand
✔ Slug-Friendly – Optimised for slug use, though pellets can still be used with care Important Notes for Users
Ensure pellets are pushed to the bottom of the magwell to prevent jamming.
Never cock the rifle while facing upwards, as improper pellet positioning may affect feeding.
Unlike previous versions, these Gen 3 mags are available only as upgrades and are not currently included with new rifles (subject to change).
My Uragan 3 Compack and Vixen 2 was both those gen 3 mag.
I did buy more those magazine and they was different version.
Then i had to find how many different mag there is and what those models are.
I was possible to chance those older models for those gen 3 models.
I contacted Tony, relayed my disapointment in receiving mismatched mags by phone and email asking to return them, he responded to me about working with you to find out what's going on with yours, but no mention about the mismatched agt mags that are not acceptable. I would gladly ship them all to you at this point.By looking at the OEM AGT magazine, I think I know why it's jamming. The opening hole on the lid is too big, when you tilt the rifle the second pellet moves and the huge hole makes it not to be aligned, when the first pellet is inserted in the gun, the second comes at an angle and.... Jam.
Want to send me one of those mags? I might design an improved replacement lid for those.
Agree!Excellent information.
"Never cock the rifle while facing upwards."
Sure would have been good to know from a user manual or official company source. What I can say is that cocking while upward is not a problem with the Orion mags! Mine was jamming merely cocking it on the bench, which is ridiculous IMO.
You are correct there is a mark on the bottom of your mag from the single time I used it. Sent .But I think he is saying on the Uragan works better and tighter on the vixen.

Yes, i would be really nice to have that info for that Agt manual.Excellent information.
