N/A Minimal tuning and accurate pcp rifle?

Ok so I have decided am going to get one last pcp rifle. My budget is max 1500 just for the rifle i have couple of other pcps, notos, avenger x, XM1, and marauder semi auto but they no longer scratch the itch that I have. So I want a rifle that is accurate and that is the most important thing the max distance I will be shooting is 100 yards give or take. i would also like the rifle to require minimal tuning, it’s nice to have all the bells and whistles but I think simplicity always comes out in top. And lastly I would like the rifle to be rugged one that I can take to the woods and do not necessarily have to baby it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciate and I thank you in advance.

i suggest you check out the "shooting with phil" youtube vidieos and his maverick tuning videios ... the fx maverick vp is a cheaper fx airgun and has a very large plenum ... it has the highest potential for high velocities at a rresonable price and phils tuning accessory makes it the easiest to tune ... good luck ... look at the the 25 cal or 30 cal first for hunting ...

Very true!!

This right here. I think it’s a smoking deal. Love a .25 caliber as it really packs a punch and easier to spot holes in paper. If I were in the US, it would have already been sold.
I did end up getting that specific gun. it’s awesome. Thanks for the info

Thanks to everyone that gave me suggestions. I could not decide between the raw and the taipan so like a true degenerate with no self control I got them both, and I don’t regret it one bit.
I recently went through the same decision making process using your originally stated criteria, and I ended up with a Taipan Vet 2 in 25 caliber. A few weeks and 500 pellets in, and I’m very pleased with my decision. It sounds like you have an awesome opportunity to make some real world comparisons.

Brocock Sniper XR.
Ron, saw your recommendation

I just placed an order with AoA for a new Brocock Sniper XR Magnum .22, Laminate stock. I had a couple of questions after reading the specs on both BRK and AoA website. None of these questions were addressed in the documented specs.

1. Looks to be Ambi, as I am a lefty. Is it ambidextrous?
2. Can you easily adjust externally Hammer Spring ( not power wheel ) for precise velocities? Not just the preset low, medium and high power wheel settings
3. Can this exact model be fitted with an air cylinder vs. the 480cc standard bottle? AoA told me no, but BRK website seems to suggest it can?

Thanks!

I had 25 brocock for a bit. I'm a lefty and had no problem shooting. Stock is ambi, cocking lever stays on the right can't change it. The hammer spring is adjustable at the rear of the action and is adjustable but I had to take it out of the stock when tuning. That might have changed. I don't anything about putting a cylinder on. Great guns trigger is not the best. Little spongy.

Thanks for the response. Yeah, thought it was Ambi. Great.

I prefer side lever on right, so no issue. I’m hoping there is a space for a small carve out behind the action so the HS can be adjusted in the stock. I’ll ask Shane at AoA.
