AirMaks Arms NEW ORION KRAIT mags

I had the pleasure to finally meet @orion earlier this week. We aren't that far form each other, lives are just too busy lol.

I sent him my krait l 177 to make mags and he more than happily obliged. These are super smooth and much easier to load. They hold 17rd rather than the oem 18, but I'll take the ease of loading over the loss of 1 shot.

This design has a solid snap to it when you insert it into the mag, so you know it's in secure. They work very well in the mag holder and cycle beautifuly.

Edit* Added pic of mag opened, it's magnetic lid per usual!

Yessir, he's already made some I believe. This first version will not have the anti double load feature as it is harder to make (.22 and up) but it is something he's looking into getting done.

I have 10 on the way for my .177, .22, and .25 Kraits. The only problems I have had with my Kraits have been magazine related. I had problems with the mag. on my Krait X .25 but I thought it was operator error. I ordered CARMs and never had a mag feeding problem again. I only used CARM mags in my .25 Krait standard and never had feed problems. When I got my Krait Ls in .177 and .22 the factory mag fun started. Point the gun up when is un-cocked and a pellet will fall through the Pellet probe hole and you have to remove the side cover to get them out of the trigger mechanism. I Blame ChickenDumpling;) I never had a problem till he told his tale of woe, he jinxed me:p. Now the mag problem is solved, I have no hesitation going all in on AirMaks.

Nice, and kinda funny timing, as I was going to ask you if you had any experience with Orion Mags, but decided just to order one and try it out for my new .22 V2. Do you mainly hunt with .177?
Plenty of experience! I have another thread regarding the Uragan/Vulcan mags he made with my U2.

Primarily .22 then .177
Awesome! Orion just sent me a new 15mm RAW mag that is well, pretty darn nice just like your Krait mags! So easy to load and they do SNAP into place, a reassuring snap knowing it's seated properly 👍 into the breech! Glad you were finally able to meet in person, how nice!
That's awesome my man, and yes it was about time and a very nice experience.

They make amazing rifles! I only had that problem once, but that's usually a spring tension issue.
