RWS how do or did you like the RWS,Diana model 46?

I've got a D46. Very well made rifle. Not the most accurate in my arsenal, but it'll keep 'em within 3/4" at 25 yards. The unique loading gate is reminiscent of the Walther target rifles and the Webley Eclipse of days gone by. It's a nice sized, handy rifle that should be adequate for most airgun tasks.
Here's a video that I made featuring my 46.

the 46 had, has one big problem
the cocking handle liked to break
the rear portion was cast metal, and the handle part was a tube
when the handles were available, they were pricy
Waffencenter Gotha show them out of shock and i am not sure if that mean not more or they are having them made
and at 90 Euros plus 40 Euro shipping that is over 150 bucks
now, on the hand, the 46 came in some different forms and some are very valuable
now would i buy one i think i would be on the maybe not side
it is a Diana classic

Now they charge an extra 30 euros due to MAGA tariffs and you can no longer use a credit card to purchase. So now the minimum shipping cost is 70 euros.

A detail of the model 46 that I like is that the receiver tube is significantly slimmer and lighter than similar guns with a sliding sleeve type breech. Its flip-up loading port is, in that sense, a modern alternative to the rotating loading tap seen on many vintage fixed-barrel springer rifles.

Other features shared with those vintage classics: not putting your fingers in harm's way to load a pellet ( (y) ); a long power-robbing transfer port ( (n) ).

how does it compare with other model air rifle? I do see it is an underlever,Thank you
You have to accept the 46 for what it is power wise, but once you get past that point what you have is a solid performing rifle with entirely acceptable accuracy for pesting or plinking.
Mine is kitted with a PG2 Vortek kit, and is pretty docile to shoot. It earned a spot in the rack due to its accuracy once I sussed out which pellet it liked, which is the H&N FTT.

Using the 46 at sensible pesting ranges, you give up nothing to a TX200 or HW97 other than power level. I have used mine out to 40 yards on game up to rabbit size with excellent results.
