Skout Everything Skout EVO and Epoch

Check out this crazy chrono reading, lol

That’s with ammo straight out of the tin

My Epoch has once again lulled me into a false sense of security, at the weekend I was getting 150 shots with a 14 ES, and today it was much the same but on changing to a heavier pellet the velocity increased beyond the 12 ft lb limit when a week ago I could change pellet weight without having to adjust the reg go figure!! Just when I thought I had got it all figured out!

Stock rifle or with an ADDED REG as has been the recent conversation ?

Added reg. But what’s even crazier is on day three of that chrono string I was on a shooting role and didn’t want to top off so I shot almost five mags and took my bottles fill pressure down to 85 bar and even with my HP set at 94 bar the gun just kept staying consistent in velocities.
Here’s a pic of my fill pressure gage before topping off- the edge of tape with arrow pointing to it is inline directly with 150 bar

That would definitely be a serious no no for regulated non electronic guns to shoot that low below reg

Help!!! New gun 25 Evo

Got a new 25 evo on the way. I need help with presure settings, what slugs and what pellets.
and anything else that I have missed please let me know. I’m a first time pcp guy, but a long time 1,000 yard shooter.
Thanks Jack
I have a 28” WL barrel that will shoot pellets and slugs. Sorry I missed that, thanks.

It’s a LOTHAR WALTHER 28” made to shoot either pellets or slugs.

I don't see the need for a lead lap .... just some firm fitting patches with compound on a long/round jag tip using a cleaning rod.
Few dozen or more back & forth passes end to end should be sufficient.
Hi again, just some feedback on the future lapping of my LW barrel.
Lothar Walther(Germany) did not even bother to answer my email, so that is out of the equation and since you believe I don't need a lead cast lapp to apply it , I will do it myself.
Believe it or not finding a lapping compound with the required grit is no easy task on my end.
I have ordered this product from Germany
https://de.pferd.com/de/schleifpaste?a[grit-size-tds]=360
It is 360 grit which is the closest to 400 I could find.
When it arrives i plan to apply it with some .270 cotton mops which i have ordered, running the full length of the barrel for about 12 times??
After cleaning that out i plan to use the 2 JB polishing products (for good measure) and then i will apply a machine wax which i have for my machinery
I hope that will suffice.
Just one question , should I run the JB products for a third of the barrel at a time as suggested by some very helpful people here , or run them the full barrel length strokes like the lapping compound??
Thank you very much again and happy shooting to all.

Has anyone got any ideas as to why this should happen? Two weeks ago it was happily firing two different weight of pellet at the required FPS without the need for adjustment, yet it's now needing adjusting and the only difference was it's previously filled to 210bar and this time to 245bar, yet it still shoots the same at 180 bar! Makes no sense to me! I swear, this gun is the screwiest gun I have ever owned!

Did you leave pressurized or was it non-pressurized between sessions

Always leave pressurized! Why do you think it makes a difference?

, if deviated something from your routine it makes a bit of a difference. I noticed if leave mine pressurized and shoot, it tends to act better than if I depressurize And pressurized again. 🤷‍♂️
my best guess is it probably has something to do with the O-rings taking a seat.
