I got the V-V 4-16 the other day..

It passes the 109 yard test I use out my back door where there is a sign with small lettering.
If I can read it easily and clearly at max power, it's a keeper.

I have a few scopes in my closet that won't pass the test.
It's at a minimum as clear as the Vortex Venom 3-15 which I also consider pretty clear glass.
Either I'm not as picky as some, or it's a good solid scope with a very bright and clear image.
I'm glad at this this V-V 4-16 is good as I had read that some have had issues.

I used to think my Vector Veyron 6-24 was not as clear as my Athlon Talos 6-24 but I just didn't get the parallax adjusted as well on the Veyron. With that fixed it is pretty clear. My Arken EPL-4 6-24 is noticably more clear but it is also noticably more expensive. I like the Vector locking turrets but I find they will not go in to the lock position sometimes. Moving a click one way or the other has solved this so far. 1 click is not much at my normal range of 30 yards. To me the big advantage of the Veyron is its size. It better matches my small bullpups.

I was griping a little about how it doesn't fit well for me on my Avenger. A cantilever mount might cure that for me. Aside from that, I think it's fine.
Don't recall fit complaints regarding 4-16, but specifics escape me. Had to use cantilever on my AGT guns, FX and Taipan, with longer pic rails, were no problem. WM
