@trlrman Have you been shooting this gun lately? Have you done any hunting with it this year? I'm still fairly intrigued by this gun. I just noticed today that yours reads "Bushbuck" on the breech block.

Not recently , after a year wait just got my dies in from Corbin ! Testing will start shortly on weights ,tail styles , and pressures on the reg.

@trlman Oh damn. You'll be swaging some slugs for it as well? Were you not satisfied with the slugs you previously cast and shot? I'm still impressed with the distance you've shot it thus far.

Sure I am happy with my cast stuff . But I will never know how good it can be if I don't try different things .

No sir, been shooting a lot of PRS & ELR with the 22 and also rimfire .

Man I am going to need a 4ft cheater pipe , that big lead is stout . I've been MIA, shooting a lot of rim and centerfire . I'll get some made soon I hope !
Maybe figure something out w/hydrauilics ?

@trlrman I was wondering how you’d be able to do that. If I remember correctly Corbin sells a longer ram handle for more leverage for producing larger diameter projectiles. I recall another member saying they used one and didn’t have problems. Let me find a link.

@trlrman You swaged some boattails out of those cast slugs? Was it hard on your shoulders or easier than swaging from cut cores? What diameter do your swaged slugs mic?

Much Easier, measure.452 , if I will drop down in weight it should bleed out the imperfections you see in some of those. It will prolly make it tougher to sqeeze. Just moving lead at this point , no bleed out.
