Airgun Technologies Is AGT good about support for discontinued models

I'm still kicking around getting a Uragan gen 1, and just can't make up my mind. I have a Wildcat mk3 that is deadly accurate, so I'd be swapping for the Uragan in one way or another, as I don't need them both.
1) is AGT good about support for discontintued guns? Will I be able to get the air hose should I need one?
2) any real problems with Uragan gen 1 (I've read every post I can find, but not a lot of real gritty reviews)
3) how loud is the U1 without a moderator in 22, shooting heavy pellets? Is it just like any other 22, my WC would be way too loud without a moderator.

Thanks

Hi Bob,

I have some experience with AGT; having a total of 7 examples through my hands over the years.

1) Support for discontinued guns? AGT makes changes to their models without reflecting those changes in their owners manuals & this is frustrating. If a change has been made typically the original part is no longer available; this leaves you with manufacturing the part yourself or sadly selling the gun for parts. Their customer service is “Stellar”; however it has taken up to 2 months from initial contact to receive the parts ordered. This was before tariffs were in place & I have no idea how much that will affect acquisition now.

2) Some owners have experienced POI with the original Uragan. Perhaps this could be a result of barrel attachment points.

3) You will not need a moderator.

AGT makes terrific guns! Accurate, easy to work on, outstanding build quality; typical of Eastern European guns. At the present most parts are available but like anything else, regarding support, time is not on your side. “Time and Tide waits for No man”.

Hope this has helped you.

I've had at least 6 or 7 Gen 1 Uragans over the past 5 or so years. I currently have two Gen 1 Uragan Compacts - .177 and .22. They are just excellent and very ergonomic guns. I think it's the ergonomics which drew me to the Uragan - it just fits me perfect.

As a side note - I like the synthetic stock over the wood one. Synthetic mutes the hammer strike very well. I found with the wood stock the hammer stock seemed to resonate through the wood and was louder in the ear.

I can't speak about having to leverage support only because I've never had any issues with them.

The problem may come from tariff related supply issues

only thing I know is no dice on barrels. I asked them about getting a barrel and probe and it was a no go. Whatever caliber you get you are stuck with. They are a much simpler gun than an FX. I have owned two AGT Vulcan 3 guns. No problems with either and no big complaints. They are accurate but in my experience it takes more diligence from the shooter to get it. I just don’t think they shoot as nice as an FX.
