Other Beginning to Grasp the term

I am now beginning to understand the term "Down the Rabbit hole". I have read that term numerous times in posts and really didn't follow it till the "bug" has hit me.
Yep, I want another one. I bought the Katran a short few weeks back and learned quite a bit regarding the " how to, in tuning". It takes a little time and a chrono really helps. My ears are no longer what they once were thanks to HP rifles and stupidity when at the invincible age of 18. So listening to report of shot wasn't an option for me. Anyway. Yea, I desire a Uragan in .25 cal. I guess I was "peeking into the rabbit hole" when I ordered the Katran.
Again, Thanks to all those that advised and constructively commented on the tuning process.
This forum is a home for those crawling into the hole.

Really? Your going to thank these guys that held your hand and walked you right down that hole? lol

As one who's just naturally curious, purposely diving head first down such holes of an unknown bottom has been a life's passion.
To do so when not really wired that way is very admirable !! and having the Web and others to ease your way down no matter how far you go ... or fall is a great thing.

Enjoy the journey

In nearly 35yrs of shooting a PCP I hadn't fallen victim to the 'rabbit' hole' syndrome. If something works for me, I stick with it for a long time. Thus..., I still hunt with my first PCP (Falcon FN19 .22) more often than I use any of the few others I have obtained in recent years.

The closest I have come to a 'rabbit hole' affair has come about in the last 2-years after I bought that damn, Uragan 2 700, .25 caliber! I have spent months of time, and hundreds of dollars on various slugs trying to find that 'magic-bullet' for the U2! Heck, I'm still not content and have even more slugs coming in the mail this week! ARRGGH! Gosh I hate that rifle!

In regards to Rabbit hole. Two kind of airgunners. Those who are content with what they have, and those who are always striving for more!
I think I fit into the latter of those categories. I was raised to never do things half assed. Always do it once and do it correct. Add to that my profession and I've become an Anal perfectionist. I always want to strive for that next higher bar. Which is actually sort of a curse in its own way. Hence, "down the rabbit hole"

I am new to PCP. I now have a setup that is working much better than I ever expected thanks to this forum! The Rabbit Hole Syndrome in my case is a quiet little voice that asks questions. “I wonder if they make RED DOT that has crosshairs with marks that would allow me to gauge the fall so I could more accurately hit a target that is much farther than what I have pistol sited in for?” Is this called “Mil Spec”?
It’s the little nudges that have me standing at the rim ot the Rabbit Hole 🤣
