FX Leopard Tuning

So, I just received a Leopard in .22, standard bottle. I have not shot yet and need a rough I idea of where to start the macro/micro setting for a JSB Hades .22 15.89 grain pellet. Any ideas? I know its a rather new rifle.

Thanks
Not a direct answer to your question but........I'm shootin JSB 20.89's @960 fps with 100bar reg.

He's a UA fan maybe UA did his tune and he doesn't tune.. Where did you purchase your rifle? Each rifle I've purchased the vendor has set it up..
UA and they set it up. I was having issues where, fire a pellet and then it would take a couple of minutes to go back to the set regulator pressure. Then would creep about 8-10 bar overnight. Sent it back to UA and they couldn't fix it. Then had the same problem with a brand new Leopard they were trying to set up for me.

Also, Off My Rocker uses AEA 18 grain pellets, so the Leopard with the heavy liner is still capable of utilizing that lower weight. I have 15, 18, 21, and 25 grain pellets. UA said they couldn't get the Leopard I bought working with those weights. Tried lighter hammers and lord knows what else.

My first one got replaced by UA last week since it was producing random slow and fast shots with pretty similar settings than yours (but the swings and random 20 fps slower and 15fps faster occurred at all kind of settings). It would shot 10-15 shots perfect and within 5-6 fps spread and then one or two 20 fps slower and another one or two faster before going back to normal. 118b and micro a tad under 2 probably shot the hades well into the 1000s btw :) mine was sending 22gr at 975 and 20.2gr slugs at 995 with that setting (plus some random 940 and 990 shots.

Replacement gun is way better but still not as consistent as I’d like it to be. Anyway, figured to take a closer look and stock hammer seems to be the 12g Panthera hammer. Probably too much for reg below 130ish. If the hammer is way too heavy for pressure, it’s harder to balance because power curve is steeper. Anyway, measured the hammer and the hammers I have around for impact are a perfect fit. Threw the huma 8.5g impact hammer in there and it’s so much better now. The odd thing is that I need way less preload with the 8.5g hammer to get the same speed. Micro is almost at absolute minimum and shooting 22gr at 965fps with 112b reg. Not sure why, maybe because of the hole in the hammer for the impact valve rod and the spring being meant for a 12g so that the 8.5g reaches higher speed with less preload. Anyway, way smoother cycle and seems more consistent, more testing to come though…
