@Avator No problem. Keep in mind that Corbin is supposed to be releasing a lighter and more portable press expressly for airgun projectile swaging. It should be cheaper. I also suggest buying more than one spool of lead when getting started. For info on the new press and to see it in action see post #2 below. The price is discussed in post #25 on pg 2.Thank you.
Wow, as a shooter of tin/pewter that caught my attention. Would you put even a guesstimate on how substantial are we talking about, like say if it takes a million shots to wear out a barrel with soft lead, it is now down to half a million shots with hard lead, or are we talking only 100 thousand, or less?CnC turned slugs are quite consistent. The downside is the antimony and tin added make the slugs extremely hard . This can promote fouling and decrease life of the barrel substantially.
I’d like to see 49 grain in 6.35 and 60 grain. In 6.36 caliber. We just finished the .250. What grain weights would you like to see?
Kits start at $1699 but we have a new airgunner kit coming in a few months that will be around $1200.What would be the entry level cost to get into swaging? Interests would be in .22 only. Weight in the mid 20gr.

That's pretty slick..Is this the new product?
Depends on the gun and the velocity.Do cup-based work better than boat tail in pellet guns?
