Retired members here?

I'm assuming the majority of members here are retired. Or if I'm wrong what is a good guess on the percentage of retired airguners?
Just guessing by reading a lot of the posts on when people are shooting or out farting around during the day..lol.
Hopefully I'll get there one day and join in on the
fun.✌🏻

Retired Jan. 2020 at 54.
Everything paid for, drawing a comfortable retirement, and still married to the girl I met in High School.
My week now consists of 6 Saturdays and a Sunday.
Yeah, that’s the way to do it. I’m still with the lady I fall in love in 1974.

Turning 65 this year but still working as I have my own field biology consulting company which means most of my work is out in the woods which I still enjoy alot. Be a few years until I hang it up I think. Often have an air rifle in the car for some plinking when out on a job.
Man, that sounds great. Are you in eastern Washington or western Washington?

Do Airgun Retirees qualify? If so, this is us…

Although I have two pensions and zero debt I still work because I have a job I absolutely love by helping people feel better and experience less pain. So working pays for my toys…. And hopefully a full sized Airgun and archery facility which I will eventually leave behind as a gift to the people.

A friend of mine once said "why should I retire, my health is really good" and I said, "are you going to wait until your health is really bad and then retire"?
Some people just don't get it!!

What a kind and generous legacy to live and leave to benefit others!

Retired in 2019 to help mom with step dad. Wasn’t planning on retiring. God took away all my excuses why I shouldn’t or can’t 🤣🤣. Really enjoyed traveling to Texas to see Mom and sister and eat that AMAZING BBQ!
Had a stroke (60 years old) back in May 2025 which made it necessary to buy a PCP Pistol. Gettin’ better and having a Blast! Retirement is Awesome!!

Agreed, as for me I'm tired of the day in day out schedule, up early, too early! Also all the BS that comes from people at work.

Just about every day, we are doing something related to airguns. We hunt, shoot N50 matches and make YouTube videos of our adventures. Life is good for a couple old guys who have known each other all our lives!
