dynamic .30 tuned for 60 grain javelins

Havent shot my Dynamic in a month or so. Went out to the squirrelin' fields yesterday during lunch to see who was skipping their mid day siesta. Forgot to hit record on the first two @ 80y and 120y. Remembered on this 106y shot of a sleepy squirrel who only presented neck and head. that was all the dynamic needed.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, the Pantera/Dynamic platform for long range hunting is pretty hard to beat. IMO is a gun that much more consistent than my Impacts ever were and needed very little to shoot slugs with high velo very consistently. I swapped out the reg for a Huma, but left hammer spring and hammer weights alone. that said I do have the rifle pretty closed to maxed, which seems totally fine.

Only feedback is that it ALWAYS takes 2-3 warmup shots to get the velo up to running speeds...otherwise POI hasnt changed since I got the thing zero'd and I can always rely on it to hit my target out to 150y +. one day I need to go shoot it at 200+ just to see how I can group.

Love this rifle.

I've been reading about FX POI changes today. Good to hear yours is doing well. I'm tempted by the Panthera.

Attachments didn't open on my phone.
I had terrible POI issues with my Impact M3. I think the plenum over barrel system on the Pathera and Dynamic negates POI issues by stabilizing the barrel. I know there are plenty of Impact fiends out there, but I really struggled with mine

Why three warmups? How often do you have to shoot it to keep it warmed up while hunting?
It just takes a couple shots for the regulator to get up to running speed. I'm not totally sure the science behind it, but its been discussed quite a bit in forums on AN and the techs at utah air generally admit that this is a real thing. If I chrono the first couple of shots they will be anywhere from 150-100fps slower than the gun generally shoots, and by shot 3 its cruzin 980-990 consistently. If the rifle goes unshot for a hour or so, I tend to notice shot velo drop 15 fps or so, but generally not enough that warrants me dealing with it. I swapped the stock reg out for a Huma and it seemed to improve this issue by 50% or so, but didnt solve it completely.

When you can get it to sit around and Crack off the first shot correctly without doing plenum dump shots, you'll have a real winner. 100 yards will start to feel like your beginning range if your experience is like mine when I got my impact to be first shot stable. Without sticking up for any particular model (because they all do something better than another) I will share my fun thought and why I DID buy an impact. Everything has to be tuned, and that's for me.... And no matter what fx has come out with the impact has still been competitive at the very least. It's a tinkerers model. So then I got a dreamline to not touch and it ruins pigeons for me with pellets out past 100 too. I am very intrigued by the valve on your model however. It may join my collection eventually.
