Don't underestimate Gamo. I shot this pellet tin at 30 yards bench rest with my Gamo Varmint Velocity. 177 using Benjamin pellets ( you can hardly see it in photo one).
This rifle hits spinners at 20-25 yards all day and it consumes NECCO wafers like a sugar fiend.
Once you get the trigger sorted, its a wicked tack driver.
I've got a bunch of high-end air rifles, but you can't beat this for pure fun!

I have an old gamo 177 springer that is pretty good, I'm just mad at gamo right now for what they're doing to crosman.... Moving production over seas.

King out of home, I'm writing to you from Spain and I can assure you that here they are, along with Hatsan, the worst you can buy. You only have to go to any Spanish forum and you'll see that when people talk about them, it's to say how bad they are and the problems they have. If you got a good one, I'm happy for you and I hope you enjoy it for many years.

Why? Crosman done it to themselves. No one to blame but us.

Now figure . Gamo can buy crosman , move of out of newyork to frendly Arkansas. Dismantle and Take production overseas reassemble some of it there , produce things and ship ot back here and sell ot for same price or less + tariffs .

Sounds like good business on gamo

As long as the gphp ( gamo premier hollow point) are still 7$ everyday walkin to Walmart and shoot great as they are for me i got no problems with gamo buying crosman . Crosman was nothing but a holding company hot potato tossed around between them .

My poor ol' gamo

Just received this today Gamo Shadow Maxxim Tactical .22. Unboxed it, quick function test, scoped it up ( I always use Locktite wicking grade thread locker on all of the mount screws) and off to the range.
This thing is absolutely phenomenal. I was only able to get about 75 shots in today and it sighted beautifully and hit everything I was aiming at. The Gamo scope is pretty good and the trigger is nice as well.
There's a lot more work to be done but this may very well be a new favorite.
PS I was using Benjamin 14.3 gr pellets.
PPS the pellet tin the photo was shot three times consecutively at thirty yards. The soupcan dot at 15, just for fun.
A great little rifle. Nice job Gamo!
