Detecting Scammers in the Classifieds

So called ladies have tried to scam me a lot on dating sites,they are very sophisticated....I feel sorry for the people on these sites that get scammed ,we are talking millions of dollars a year.....scammers are everywhere and now the AI to help them..

This may have been mentioned in replies to this thread as I have not read them all.
A well known member on AGN PM’d me regarding a PCP I had posted on AGN. At the time I already had positive feedback on other items and rifles I sold. The member requested a photo with me holding the rifle with a piece of paper showing the current date along with a couple additional photos that weren’t in my classified posting. That’s one way of assuring the poster has the item but obviously it doesn’t mean it’s still not a scam. I think positive feedback is a good tool and personally have not read about false feedback, but it might exist I suppose.
