In my younger days,I always wanted a Crow Magnum or the Theoben Eliminator

Had a 20 cal Crow Magnum gas ram, not a very fun gun for plinking at a higher power level, nice looking though, novelty wore off, and that was a gun I didn't regret selling.
Mine was a very angry gun also. To cock and shoot. But some guys don’t have a problem with it. What’s interesting is I have no problem taking a beating behind a powder burner. But I’m a complete wimp when it comes to airguns. I think it’s because of the environment we exist in with airguns. Hell, half the guys on here are probably shooting from their window or deck in a bathrobe and slippers.

For the serious Crow mag/ Eli fanboy only

I hear you,It seems when I am shooting a PB rifle it is different, the range is much greater, most of the time I at a shooting range and not my backyard.
As far as the Theoben ,I will see and already know what has to be done do make it easier to shoot.....maybe it just my last hooah . What ever happens happens ,plus truth be told I got a great deal.....then again a great deal is only if it works out for me.....

Too be fair I never had a PB that was this hard to cock and I used my arms a lot because I was a house painter back then so was in great shape in that regard. At least the CM didn't have a springy sproing since it was a gas ram, more of a forward recoiling THUMP. It would do 1" at 30Y which wasn't horrible it's just that - pcp.

But same here for PB's except dangerous game guns/cartridges, and 12 gauge with HV slugs. A guy I know had a 416Rigby, I fired it once, lol. My go-to is a 6mmBR long range rifle so it's sweet to shoot.

You guys likely have seen my comments on springers before and they're not my thing anymore. I even sold my 300s in favor of a 601 which I've been happy about. I don't hate em though.

I also recently discovered my Western Mordax Venom is much more my thing than I imagined it would be. Now that's a fun gun for me which definitely HAS become a thing! I have to pry myself away from it.

I've had several Eliminator/CM rifles and never found them to be particularly hard to cock or shoot. They were all full power. I am now 69 years young and still enjoy my .22 Eliminator, .20 RX2, .22 Scirocco and .22 Crusader. Unfortunately, I am going to have to thin several of my airgun collection out sooner than later.
12 fpe doesn't count, jk.

It's not the first how ever many cocks when I began plinking, it's a prolonged session that was PITA.

Yeah if I had shot it every other day to condition my muscles then okay that's different.

Kinda like springtime coming around then riding my EMTB again after months sitting around. Once I get in shape again I can ride for hours with little consequence.
