I have a FX true ballistic unit showing 855 ft./s foot pounds 168.8 on unit, app says 65foot pounds, is there something I’m missing in the app to change?

In the app, go to profiles and choose Bullets at top. From there, Add Bullet. Enter the weight and name it.
The FX chrony is doing its job but it doesn't tell the app what projectile or weight you are shooting.

You have set it from 0 yards, change that to atleast 20 or 25
I do mine from 25, 50, 75 and then 100
It measures at the muzzle and then goes to 25 and up

I thought I did, but I’m not sure I will do some more testing tomorrow I may of had the wrong pellet weight

Talked to someone from FX told me to delete the app and try that, lost 5 years of data info power level etc. I hope it works now

Still having trouble I add a pellet and shoot all is good then go to another pellet add that one still good go back to the last one and my ftp is wrong it seems that you have add a new pellet every time

@Csbrown5 For what those cost, have you considered contacting FX to see if there’s a firmware update that can correct the issue or if it can be exchanged for a functional unit? You already tried deleting the app. Also, have you asked them if there’s a way to retrieve your lost chronograph data from when you deleted the app?

There is a firmware update can’t get to to do the up on my Mac either, going to call them tomorrow they said that I can return it if it is still doing it

A lot of it is air gun I sold so no big deal, I have some of this info on my Garmin I just bought the FX True ballistics because I like the fact that you can add pictures to you groups, like this group 5 shot at 50 yards with my 357 bulldog

All I can say is I have the Garmin and it has been pretty bullet proof. I think I'd send the FX back and buy a Garmin.
