What's your thoughts on AEA airguns? Are they hype or legit?

Also I thought I seen you were going to get a huma regulator? I'd look into proper degassing or maybe i got the weep hole dirty i dunno, but I tried one and overnight lost some pressure so I was going to take it apart and see what was going on and started degassing by loosening the air gage and the plenum must have had pressure in it and when the take got below that level it shot the regulator up in the tank and there is a o ring on the bottom that makes the seal against the valve housing and it came off then the regulator dropped back down wedging itself on the o ring and I had to hammer it out with a wood dowel so then I decided im done forever with regulators

Well I hope that's not the case for me. But worst case senerio I will do as you suggested and use it as more capacity

Huma Regulators won't add capacity they fit inside existing air tube, the aea Regulators you can gut and use those because they have a short piece of tubing added

Ok I don't have jts, I have zan 51 and 60 grain 303 slugs, then pellets, Apolo 49gr, jsb hades 44.75gr ,jsb exact 50.15gr and aea 66.2gr

Well with this spacer maybe you won't feel the need for a regulator? A regulator you can limit the pressure going to valve and then fill to higher pressure though, and fine tune the power you want, this spacer just puts more pressure on the valve so it closes faster and that keeps it more consistent by not letting excess air out at higher pressure and kinda balances how much gets out through the entire fill but its not going to limit the actual pressure or let you fill to higher pressure and it could wear valves out faster? I dunno, I've only had them in my guns a couple months and do have spare valves just incase, but to fine tune the power youd need to play with hammer springs and hammer weight or just use power wheel, myself, i want the best shot count with the most power i can get and the spacer seems to be the trick but if you use the spacer and regulator together you might not notice the spacer because a regulator has a plenum and only let's that much air in anyway. Or maybe it'll make regulator better im not sure. Wish I would have tried the spacer sooner though instead of buying $300 in regulators I don't use and even if a valve wears out $30 is better than a $100 regulator. FYI, my 25 and 177 both prefer the stock hammer spring over a heavy hammer spring , my 30 loves a heavy hammer spring but it also has a 32 inch barrel. Im actually thinking about going to a stock hammer spring in it though to make it a little more manageable with lighter ammo and it kicks back a bit and is loud.

Thanks for the information. I might just return the regulator. Im hoping to get some consistent groups at 150 , that's my goal anyways. I am looking forward to trying the spacer! When my lathe motor died I tried to use my drill press to turn it down, yeah no go! I don't have a collet that size for my mill
