Ouch! Now listed on the AoA website for preorder with a final price of $650. Thoughts?View attachment 588042
To further confuse things, the HW 50 was discontinued around 1995. So it was made for ~ 45 years. Its replacement was the HW 99 (later renamed HW 50). So this gun is only celebrating its 30th anniversary. Why would weihrauch use the hw50 for the 125 year anniversary when they knew hw50 was at 75 yr anniversary?
An excuse to release another LE. Perhaps the Red version sold better than they expected?. Either way I welcome it. We need a black laminate HW98 nextWhy would weihrauch use the hw50 for the 125 year anniversary when they knew hw50 was at 75 yr anniversary?
We're those $650?An excuse to release another LE. Perhaps the Red version sold better than they expected?.
Thanks. I had no idea they were that expensive. I didn't care enough about the red ones to look. I don't think I'd spend $600 on the blue ones. I'll probably get my deposit back, finish the sale of my R8 and maybe find a lightly used Hw50 for half the price. $650 for an Hw50?No, the red ones were $600
And discontinue a affordable standard gun for these silly inflated expensive ones . Then who'd think a plain r9 is worth $700 ..lol that kinda makes the anniversary pricing look cheap ..lol ( i guess the some )An excuse to release another LE. I wonderd in this .That comes out to 900 snow pesos. That’s near walnut TX money. Hard pass. We have the red ones still available up here. 700$ still pretty steep .
The store which has these ( Dlairgun) which are the only HW dealer in Canada . Says this batch is not numbered. So much for the very limited run. Here’s a quote. “Unlimited Jubilee model, rifles are not numbered but are otherwise identical to numbered Jubilee rifles.”I wonderd in this .
Limited edition a 1000 guns sold world wide . I was wonder if one day a guy put his # 67 up in the usa if another guy in france or somewhere says hay i also got a # 67 .
Its not like you had to bid on a numbered gun to get that gun exclusive . There sold open market at any shop which sells hw to the general masses .world wide On line .
This is good to know. Are the unnumbered red ones cheaper than the numbered? Maybe there's hope for me?The store which has these ( Dlairgun) which are the only HW dealer in Canada . I liked there normal stuff but seems after covid there having problems making guns to supply . Then grandson stepped in to the office then stock changes then this high priced anniversary or special edition stuff looks to be more priority now .. but ya, im not buying itThis is exactly why you shouldn't buy their stuff.
That woulda been a prime anniversary edition. Remake of an old school HW 50!I don't think there even were lasers 75 years ago...they should have copied the airgun on the advert?View attachment 588023
