How do you shoot your groups?

Curious how everyone shoots. Mostly bench?

I’ve been shooting off bench mostly but took the ATV out and shot my Panthera off the front rack with a bag. Slightly more difficult then on bench but was pretty happy with results. 102 yards.

Wow! Very nice shooting. When I’m trying to shoot for good groups I always shoot off of my Caldwell Stable Table and I use a front and rear sandbag. I also will set out wind flags and keep an eye on then.

Baseline bench with accutac bipod front and shooting bag in back. Only bust out the shooting turret for special testing of slugs if conditions warrant it.

Lol.. ok. I finally kicked down and bought a nice sturdy carbon fiber tripod with built in ball head and I mounted an arca swiss plate to my air rifle.

I got tired of messing around with flimsy camera tripods with the scrawny legs in all the sections, and all the flex ..

Or the overly bulky builders level tripod that weighs a ton and is too big to stash in the coat closet

I made a sturdy pedestal that plugs into a big metal disk type of a base that I stripped off my son's game chair before I tossed the chair. It's sturdy af because I had to reinforce it while he still used it but it got to bent to support the rest of the chair, so I rolled a couple hoops of rebar and bent up some rebar spoke looking things and welded it to the under side of that metal disk base. ..it's about 30" Ø. Where the chair used to be plugged into it, now has a pipe that can plug into it. The other end of the pipe is mounted the top part of a tripod with a ball head mounted to it.

I still need to tighten that joint up a little to make this a rock solid base to shoot from. I like not having to deal with any tripod legs splayed out to trip me
