hi.. I'm quite new to this and I love it, but recently had a problem with my artemis p15, I brought myself a new one a few month's ago now and the bloody poppet snapped off at the end 🙄 so I ordered some poppet's from Ali express but unfortunately they are too long and a little bit thicker than the original poppet (tipical) 😂 I don't suppose anyone with some professional knowledge would know how to get them to there correct size, what would I have to buy in order to get them to my desired length?? I'd really appreciate any help and or advice

Good luck getting parts, you'll have to contact air venturi. According to an ex employee only Russians are allowed to work on Atamans, and parts are scarce.

Maple products in Canada sells poppets which fit my P35s and bullshark, I think they will fit your P15. I get a few less fps with them, I think it is because they do not have a radius in the steel part where it meets the plastic. But they work. I did not need to lap the one I tried to get it to work.

If the shafts of the ones you have is the right diameter, the shaft can be cut to shorten it with a cutting wheel in a dremel tool. A grinder can fine tune it. If the plastic part does not seal to the valve you can use a little valve grinding compound to grind the plastic part into the valve with the valve part that goes onto the spring in the jaws of a drill. I use high speed and a minute or two of grinding plus about the same amount of time with JSB bore cleaning paste has worked several times for me now. If the head or the part that goes into the spring is too big you can reduce the size with a sanding block turning the plastic part with a drill.

If you know how to post links, could you post one to the ones you find on aliexpress? I've tried finding them there and not been successful. Even if they require fine tuning they could be useful.

what are atamans? lol it's the artemis p15 air rifle and people can make these themselves, all i needed was info on that!! but thank's for your vote of confidence lol😂

🤣🤣 no problem buddy well it look's like the mrs has found a way to make them I'll let you know if there any good. they wasn't even able to fit in the valve but can now and the white plastic has been sanded down just for the spring to sit on then all that need's doing is them shortened.

Just have someone with a lathe turn them down to match your stocker. Then trim the pin to the proper length. Looks like you have enough to last a lifetime. What I find interesting is I’ve had a P15 since 2017. And it’s modded for power and efficiency. I’ve never broke a poppet. I turned mine down a little but it’s still holding up fine. Now that I said that, it will probably break the next time I shoot the gun.

What are you guys doing to break them? Did they just have a brittle run lately?

lol be be honest with you I really don't know what happened!! it's brand new, i was trying to change my regulator and seen that the plastic part had snapped off, it was a good thing i had an old artemis because I took the poppet from that, but yes you are right mate I need to know how long it is, and i can't find the correct size anywhere, I've been told I'd have to contact smk to find out 🙄😂., and hopefully your's won't buddy 😂

Thanks for the link. I measured the spare Maple poppet I have. It is 41.26 overall, plastic and attached stainless pin. The plastic head is 8.6mm long spread about equally between the smaller part that goes in the spring and the bigger part that seals. The diameter of the small part is 5.55mm, the big part is 7.82mm in diameter. The shaft is just under 3mm. You can fix other things but if the shaft is not 3mm it won't work.

Jim if you're on about the steel pin it's 3 mm thick mate I'll send you a pic mate I've made the white piece alot more smoother so it sit's better when it's in the valve all i need to do now is shorten them all 👌👍
