Take Aim .1775 slugs

Ordered some 13&14grain .1775 dish base. The 15gr is already the “heavy” projectile of choice for my Katran L. Currently 125b. The 15s peak at 885 at this pressure, but I choose to utilize a little lower on the curve at 865. Getting a 6.7 extreme spread with a .7SD. recently the man behind the slugs contacted me and sent me some 15gr hollow point boat tails to try. The 15dish were reliable 1.1MOA slugs at 100. I’ve only shot these new boat-tails out to 35 since getting these in the mail today, here are my results.
Unless for some unexplained supernatural phenomenon cause these to start wobbling like a knuckling football, these are looking like they’ll be my primary Projectile overall, usurping the throne from the throne 10.03 ko mk3 at 986.

Anyone shooting the 1:17.7 unchoked cz 520 should definitely give these a try. He says they are just as good out of the 1:16Fx liner. The 1:18 heavy and superior. As well. TAKE AIM SLUGS on eBay.

They shot outstanding at distance. fat grey @ 115yrds, .082bc were the numbers i got. Alt 1132', 732.2 mmHg Barometer, 69% humidity at 85.5 deg F.

Dialed 4.8 put the dot on her the upper right corner of her shoulder. Pop. the hole couldn't have been more perfectly on the dot. Heart/lung punch, knocked off the tree, DRT on retrieval.

Where they were aimed, they hit exactly. NO flyers, perfect.

That really is an outstanding shot. I have a problem chasing velocity. I need to start shooting for groups and not worry out velocity so much. I'm shooting the 13.43 knockouts @ 978fps and at 56yds under dime size groups but I finally got a programmer (the DIY one) so messing around with the tune and tomorrow gonna see which shoots best. If the slower tune does even tighter groups I'm gonna put a hold on chasing velocity. These are my 3 tunes on the Pulsar, for now... once I burn through the 3 tins of 13.43 knockouts I just got, well 2 tins left, I'll order some Take Aim slugs and start the tuning all over again lol.

Big number feel good, just 10fps increments can be the difference between good and "holy poop". Not telling you any thing you dont know. Im kicking the 15s at 33.8
