Im not a expert by any means .. but i have some hi power AF guns.. like 10 .. by the out put of your hp valves , they have power enough but not twist enough .. correct twist by out put for the .22 should be 1-14 it will allow you to shoot up 44gr really stable still at 1000fps and the correct twist for. 25 to shoot between 55gr to 60 .. is 1-16 .. courtesy of the FX liners that come aviable in this twists.. LW should have no problem in making those barrels in that twist.. ballistics have moved forward pretty quick..now is the time for the barrel twist to catch up .

What twist rates do these barrels have?

Some advice from a customer:

Slug barrels should be available separately you would sell a lot of them.
Post your twist rates, and maybe even get the correct ones.
You market your line as hunting rifles but no factory sling swivels?!?!??!
PICATINNY RAILS, you guys need to catch up to this century you are still stuck in the 90s.

I'd buy one if I could get the barrel dimension and twist rate info.I like the idea of a single shot so I don't have to worry about bullet length.
The Eagle claw has a 1-17.7 twist and stabilizes the 35g MP copy of the Huben Peanut to 200 yards. This is at a velocity of about 675(IIRC).Its about .428 long from my mold.
I have molds that are copies of the 22LR heeled 40g bullet I'd like to try in pcp rifles.

looking in Walthers site the only. 22 airgun barrel un- choked and the length AirForce is putting in the Slug-dor is 1-20" twist.
Not that they couldn't have ordered a special run of 1-16 with rimfire bore dimensions. I'd love that!

Edit on the Eagle claw velocity statement above.I just took it out. Velocity is 840 fps with the peanut. Don't know what I was thinking originally. Considering not being a slug gun , it's really not a bad shooter with Is that slow twist ans this short cast bullet.

Can you just buy the barrel?? Price????

Some of the best Schuetzen powder burner barrels are gain twist and often 6 or 8 groove. My Pope and AW Peterson were such as well as the current RKS barrels from Canada. I'd like to see some research into gain twist for airgun slugs .The theory is they start at a gentle twist and speed up as they take the trip to the muzzle. Thus less chance of skipping the rifling and being able to use a faster twist. The best barrel makers of over 100 years ago also cut a choked barrel.

@AirForce These were my words: "How can Airforce Airguns be so clueless? They have the audacity to launch a slug-making press that swages slugs in sizes compatible with FX barrels. A company (@AirForce )that has done virtually nothing for small-caliber slug shooters is now selling slug-making equipment." Today, you've made an attempt to break free from lethargy—it's a half-hearted effort with the whole "limited edition" spiel, but still a decent step. Take a leap of faith, go all-in with slug barrels, and fine-tune your valves. No one else can dump air directly behind a slug, so think about it. And, as usual, I don't expect you to read this comment or my or your customers emails, so your cluelessness continues. but a small positive step for sure. Ken

It better not be a 1:20.
The 1:17.7 23.5” lapped out choke seems to do best with 28-32-34g max.
Really need a 1:16 or 1:14 for 40 grain RBT Griffin slugs
