What springer did you shoot today?

no shooting today Rain heavy with wind off the lake = wet shooting stand /table . Just barely see the other side of the lake last two hours .
“Dry as a popcorn fart.” Man could we use rain. Luckily I pump water out of lake to water garden.
Taking these 5 out for a spin today.

Crow, how are you liking those aperture sights. I am at the point where I more of my guns have those sights than scopes
I’m trying to get used to them. Don’t know if my eyes are going to allow it to happen. So far so good. I love the looks of them. Crow

Nice, Crow. Those 10M guns might be my favorite things to shoot. You nearsighted or farsighted? I’m near and love the diopters. What are you using in front sight?

I had the Lazer and lens put in eyes last year. Don’t wear glasses any more.
The sights are what came on and not sure if correct.
The 601 was shooting so low.
I haven’t bought a gas can in 20+ years. Bought one last month and the 601 shot so low I hit my new gas can.

PMO. My mistake. Shot 10 inches low. Not the greatest target holder. 10 meters.
These guns are the best. Crow

The sights on it look to be correct, I would check it across a chronograph and proceed from there. You were shooting at 10M correct?
It should shoot around 550 to 600 fps.

Also, take a look and be sure that your front aperture insert is centered in the front sight. It is not unheard of to have the wrong insert cause issues.

Really Crow? That wasn't the brightest idea. I'm surprised at you.

Oh I don't think you have enough hanging targets either 🤣

Love ya Dave

Ya, I deserve a toung trashing. Late in day, tired and lazy by that time. It was in back of buggy, too easy. Figured these guns don’t miss. Easily 8-10 inches of clearance. No way will I hit the can. First shot with the 601. Wasn’t prepared for that. Called myself a few good adjectives. Crow

Thanks. The 601 front sight was missing. Oddly there was a front sight on my kitchen floor. No idea where it came from and used it. I have several Weihrauch front sight sets. Will they work?
Not at all familiar with these guns. Crow

Weihrauch inserts will not work in that sight. That sight requires the use of inserts that fit an 18mm FWB front sight. The HW inserts are 14.6mm.
Looking closely at the picture you posted, it appears that the ears of the insert are not fully seated in the front globe causing the insert to be positioned high of center in the front sight possibly?

What are those, John? I'm not familiar? They're rather unique with that stock design. Is that steel muzzlebrake original?
Mike Melnick tuned XS25SFB in .22 the muzzle break is stock. MM tuned XS25 177 in bamboo stock
