Brocock/BRK Is Brocock Ghost Carbine a good choice for HFT competition?

I like the weight and length.

Anyone with experience in this field?

The price range is about the same as big competition names like Steyr, Walther, Anschutz etc.

I believe that the 2024 Hunter class grand Prix series champion used a Ghost on her campaign. Although I'm not sure if she runs a carbine length or full-length barrel.

(I personally have found that the Ghost is one of my favorites for offhand shots).

Any gun that you are able to hit a .25 inch target at 10 yards and a 1 inch target at 60 yards will be good enough. The Ghost is able to do just that.

It can be done successfully with much attention paid to getting rock solid stable in your shooting position & making sure no CANT exists as the taller optics position is far more sensitive to getting it crooked having Cant.

This is actually a good point that I looked at differently and that's Ghost's weight. Would a heavier gun have an advantage in this situation? Because its not about actual hunting, which would require carrying the gun around, but rather hitting the target for scores.

The Ghost Carbine with a big scope atop can become portly quickly. But if the weight helps in the FT games then its moot… My .22 Carbine…

Let me expound on that. The 2024 AAFTA National Champion (AAFTA GP Hunter) shoots a carbine length .177 Ghost. Nuff said.
