How important is the initial energy dump rt after impact a factor when u shoot for hunting, or gel test for that matter or do prefer a long wound channel .what do folks think ?
I’m sorry to call me a little late. The notice is not a very powerful gun, but it is a very good and accurate again the Commodore like most PCP made by Beeman it’s more of something for people who like to tinker around I own an under labor in 22 caliber and I love it. It’s not super powerful but it’s very tunable it’s pretty good up to 50 yards with the right pallet is also very easy to hang pump only and with most compressors it will only take 4 to 5 minutes to fill up but it last night some love and care to figure out exactly how you like it at the end if you guys wanna shoot by a notice if you really like to spend some time with your rifle by the BeamanHi, I'm new over here, any pellets suggestion for iguanas? Minimal pass through is key. I do not have the rifle yet, still deciding between the Notos and the Beeman Commodore 13625.
Thanks in advance.
Very important, as long as the round is still moving fast enough to penetrate. How important is the initial energy dump rt after impact a factor when u shoot for hunting, or gel test for that matter or do prefer a long wound channel .what do folks think ?
Throw in the numbers for a 24grain .177cal doing 50 ft/ibs.here’s a .177 akela shooting 24.43fpe with 13gr h&n slugs from 0-74 yards. just under 19fpe at 75 yards. still more energy than a fully pumped crosman 1322 at point blank. i dont think an iguana can walk away from a fully pumped 1322 at point blank range View attachment 581576
couldn’t find 24grain .177 slugs in the list of ammo. here is 20 grain h&n going 1000fps muzzle velocity for 44 fpe. i also changed the range step to 5 yards so iti can show farther rangeThrow in the numbers for a 24grain .177cal doing 50 ft/ibs.

Thanks for the answer, I bought the Beeman Commodore 13625, offered more value to me, 2 magazines, scope (cheap but works), larger shot count, only $211 on Amazon.I’m sorry to call me a little late.
