What did you do airgun related today.

got new metric screws to replace one messed up threads on one so replacing all in a Diana zero mount .

New screws = 25 minute drive to hardware and 25 minute back home , up north at the old house this would have taken about 12 minutes walking . love to be out here in southern Kentucky ,would not trade for anything ( except maybe an indoor 50 yard range .)

The Notos Huben drop block regulator started to creep so I decided to fix it, replaced the regulator with a spare I had sitting around, going to clean up the seat on the Delrin seal or relace it, I have plenty of stock rod Delrin to replace it with.
I also drilled the holes on the stainless cap to the size of my spanner wrench pins so it would be easier to remove. ;)

Well I found something wrong after all....The Gamo 3-9 was toast!
About the only thig good from a gamo package scope is the mount .. it at least holds up for a long long time ..lol

This one hold zero good and as long as you tape the power on x7 it stays in focus ... Somewhat..
gamopackage.jpg

Its still deadly. I got shot posts using it on out there some ...lol

Every other Friday I have to mow the field target course. But this now my workload is double.
Because I expanded the range to a practice range and a field target range and a bench rest range I now have my work cut out for me. With a 21 inch push mower it should be about 1 hour or so. Plus I spray paint all the permanent targets

It really looks good when it grows in. And after I cut it to get ready for the weekend.

I was zeroing in into my trap and suddenly the crosshairs canted a bit to the left. Scope wasn't loose; crosshairs no longer lined up with turrents.
Did a YT fix and it did not last. Tossed it.

Ya, that one of 3 only held .. but like i said you got to tape down the power ring on 7 power . If you dont when you shoot the recoil causes it to turn to another power that not as in gocus as it is only at 7x .. lol.

Do ots pretty much gone from a 3-9 to a fixed 7x scope ..lol
