Where to get parts anodized?

Hey everyone. I have seen some great mods and dressups on the site and am wondering where to send parts for anodization? I’m in so. Cal and I’ve looked but meh. I’d be willing to look out of state and if a member here does it, even better. I have a large aftermarket plenum for my m60B and it’s all aluminum. I’d like to add some looks to it. Any thoughts/ suggestions?

Minimum charge in LA area about $200. Can get a lot of parts done for that price.

My buddy used this stuff and yurned out pretty nice .. ( i thought so anyways)

Lots to look at and choose from..

Good luck

Many local dealers do or have someone that does cerakoting and it’s pretty cheap nowadays. It’s fairly easy to do and do a good job for simple coating designs (three color pattern or less) so many can do it. I would do that if the Duracoat self apply doesn’t interest you. Duracoat is a great option for Airgun parts since they are so removable. Prep-work is the key to a good finish. As you well know, the more time you spend the better the final product obviously.

If you are trying to avoid a lot charge to get the part anodized I would recommend some type of Cerakote. Cerakote looks great and it easier to control color and match other colors. I anodize all my custom parts and it can be difficult to match color shades and texture especially if you don't know the exact aluminum used.

Here are some of the parts I make and anodize.
