What springer did you shoot today?

I did not shoot it today . But I will be shooting it all weekend.
This is my trusty TX200 I have had for ten plus years. It is tuned to 12 ft lb and I had a giant scope for open class with 40x magnification.
The scope cost 300 dollars and was not great. Now I’m shooting Hunter and I put a smaller scope on and for the first time since I have owned the gun the loading port is not covered. This made shooting so much more pleasurable. It is just a breeze to load. So I upgraded my PCP and put this Aztec Emerald 5.5-25x50 on.
This is such a nice FFP scope for field target. I am really excited to sight this in. And shoot it.

HW 98 in .22 cal. And an HW97K in .177 cal. They're both super accurate LazarBeam Air Rifles !!

totally love them.

The wife was out last night when I arrived home. That gave me a few hours of daylight and a nice calm night to put some lead down range. First up was my .22 cal. BSA Supersport Mag. What a terrific rifle. Compact, lightweight, accurate and powerful. It's been converted to a gas ram powerplant which makes it a joy to shoot and in my opinion, the ideal "woods gun"...

Next, I brought out my 1970 Diana model 35. It's been a while since I shot it. It's got some issues. I put a thread up in the Traditional Airguns forum just to complain about it. ;)

When I first started reading I thought that you were going to say that you came home and found your wife out shooting the BSA.

68 right now, perfect. I wouldn’t say summer is over, still have August. And I’m free as a bird today. Going to shoot, maybe. Crow

88 here in E. Texas now at 11am. I will get out and put some more tung oil on the old Freeland palm rest I have been refinishing and probably shoot some this afternoon. I think the high is predicted to be about 95, Just looking outside, there is a rather strong breeze that would make shooting at any distance rather difficult.

I don’t know how you guys take the heat.
‘This morning I shot one of my HW30 .22. Best plinker. View attachment 579574Noon 74F. Crow
Stay in the air conditioned house and wish we could enjoy some of the outdoor activities. When outdoors here shade is the gold standard for any activity and for parking cars. Honestly even though we do get some cold weather, I use the a/c in the car 12 months out of the year, and this time of year always crack windows when parked and put one of those reflector shades inside the front windshield, they do wonders for keeping it cooler.

The heat and humidity lifted, nice weekend weather.
Shot my Norica hawk grs 22. Groups are shrinking and I'm starting to like this thing.
Curiosity got me so I shot a few rounds over chronograph before heading home.

14.3 ......761 ft/s. 15.89g ........692 ft/s
CPHP.....763 ft/s. JSB exact....691 ft/s

And a HW30 .20.
I've got a brand new walnut HW30 in .20, scoped and ready to go. But it's 93 degrees with oppressive humidity. I'll try it in September, maybe October. Plus 11 other springers...I'm relegated to shooting pistols in my air-conditioned garage. Outdoor shooting is a seasonal sport in South Florida.
