FX Gerhard video M4 Impact barrel?

In the above video, members would have noticed that Gerhard is shooting with M4 but the barrel is not of black color rather it is shining silver color.

Any idea if he is using the liner, the liner has been converted into a solid barrel using a 14mm stainless steel pipe glued with liner?

Don't know, I (vaguely) remember a video where Gerhard had polished the sleeve for esthetic reasons. Maybe this is the same sleeve.

it won't fix any of those problems, only a solid bull barrel could... with some other precaution

Could be a stainless barrel sleeve. I have one aswell.

Even when the liner is glued in it doesnt mean its a real barrel.

Agreed. I have also made stainless steel sleave and glued it to liner. It is more consistent now.

What glue/epoxy did you use? Does it crack over time?

Yes I used epoxy. So far so good.

The FX series does need "Real" barrels instead of the current joke that is used !!

Liners are very accurate. Just need to be converted into solid barrel as I did.

FX needs need to go back to the Smooth Twist barrels, except they need to invent a way to get a superior and heavy barrel in it.

I think just about everyone is sick of carrying around their $2000 FX Airgun likes it’s made of glass. It’s time to move on to other just as good options and let money make FX get back to the design table.

Uragans are build like tanks. Ive shot one at my the range, the newest Uragan 3. And it did shoot pretty good. Solid CZ barrel, dont need a moderator in 700mm 22 cal

Love those Uragans. Have first gen and second gen. Going to probably get a gen 3. Can’t go wrong with them especially shooting pellets.
