Daisy Daisy 853c - Repeater

i got the parts ordered thanks i will see if i can make the 853cm into a mag mover instead of a finger pusher
so, i have always thought the M in 853CM was for military but i think it is for manual LOL
Did you order the sear specifically for for 853c? If so, do you have the part number?

i did get a trigger assembly kit 853-20 but not a sear by itself
i know you stated the sear makes i difference, but those parts sit on top of the clam shells and not near the sear and i have assumed the cocking handle is doing the work
now the model 900 has the mag advancer and the sear for that is a 900-29 and on the parts diagram, it shows the spring and that spring is the same as the sear spring on that model and the bolt 900-10
i will try to get it to work without opening up the shells but at this point i have no idea if the parts will work at all
why the hell they were not used in the first place is a head scratcher
the parts diagram numbers are worthless to a point
now, in this video at the 1:40 mark he just reaches down and lifts the 2 parts off the top and pulls the spring off
we will see

and i have assumed the cocking handle is doing the work
When the cocking handle is released after cocking it falls forward until the hammer engages the sear. When it does it moves the actuator back to align the clip (pellet) to the barrel chamber. The 853/753 sear allows the actuator to go to far back and misaligns the clip.

well it will work or fail
seeing that the gun is marked a C i will hope i don't need a sear
do you have the real part number for the C sear and the non C sear
i do see the asterisk on the sear well as i said mine is a C model and i now see that the C model have less FPS and that could be the sear doing that

I do not have the part number for the 853c sear. My 853c fires stronger than both my 753 models. The tiny extra strike on the valve could boost velocity. Also, the faster fps on my 853c could be the bolt going through the rubber clip that are up against the breech. Less blow back loss. The 753/853/953 bolts do not have a seal. But that’s only a hunch. Maybe I just have an unusual one. Good luck with the upgrade.
