When running my GX CS3 compressor in hot weather (It was 38 C at the range), the power supply becomes quite hot.
I removed the black plastic grill between the fan and the cover. The volume of air flow increased significantly, so I expect a reduction in operating temperature.
FWIW, some of this type of power supply doesn't have this grill.
Just remove the screws that hold the aluminum cover, lift off the cover, remove the fan screws, slide the black plastic grill out, and reinstall the fan screws & cover screws.
